Just one observation --

Season Finale thread of 24 currently has 927 views since Monday

Season Finale thread of LOST (started by yours truly) has a MIND-BOGGLING 12,860 views in less than 8 hours!! :shocked:

the view count has to be some sort of bug. Or someone has the reloadevery extension going quick. This forum has about 5000 active members... and that's not ever at one time. More like 100-200. I noticed the viewcount on that thread increment by 2000 after checking back 10-15 minutes later. 150 views per minute ? Don't think so. Going by the 12000 during that hour it was showing... 200 views per minute for a full hour ? Don't think so.

As a drama, I chose 24. Lost moves too slow to be edge-of-your-seat captivating.

I like you descriptions of 24 ... only season I've ever seen was this last one, and the first season of LOST TOTALLY owns it.

I caught the last few minutes of tonight's episode (in HD, of course )...it seemed pretty interesting (and I'd seen bits and pieces of a few other episodes). My vote still stands, though.

The funny thing about us agreeing is that I haven't watched 24 in over two years and my generalizations ring true.

there are more replies to the 24 thread than there are for the LOST thread. furthermore, 24 gets its own thread weekly (LOST, not so much.. at least not as structured as zim does it ) and a lot of folks know what to expect from that thread so they've stopped going (spoiler concerns, mostly). i'd bet that if zim refrained from posting such structured 24 threads weekly, the 24 finale thread would win with the number of views for sure.
