Netgear MA111v1 wireless usb adapter installed on XP connecting to an older Intel 2011 access point, and it will work fine for long periods but will sometimes just drop the connection. All the other PC's in the office are connecting just fine, and a PC further away almost in a direct line behind the PC with the problems never loses it's connection also running XP and using a MA111 adapter. I've updated the firmware to the latest release, uninstalled and updated the drivers and still this adapter will just lose a connection. I've even replaced the the adapter with another one still the same thing. It will drop the connection and on rescanning the for a wireless network cannot find it. The access point isn't running wep. Any suggestions? I checked for the hotfix being installed that can cause wireless problems but it isn't in the list under add/remove.
