I'm planning to get the 4-disk version, send in for the rebate & then ebay my 2-disk version. The best of both worlds I guess. Personally, I couldn't wait until November to get my hands on it, hence having to buy both...

$25.99 isn't too bad. I guess this means some place will be selling this set for around $20 because Amazon is almost never the cheapest.

EDIT: Hmmm, but Amazon has free shipping for orders over $25. I'm very surprised they didn't price this at $24.99 just to milk you more for shipping.

The UPC for LOTR is physically on the back of the case. If it had been a tab I might have bothered trying to find my receipt, but I'm not gonna cut my case label up. Oh well.

If Amazon has it for $21 it is VERY likely that Best Buy will have it for less than $20 the first week it is out. They almost always have the cheapest price for a DVD the first week it is released. I predict it will retail for about $16.99, similar to the LOTR standard price at BB the first week.

Did you check the 'crack' (when you open the case, check the inside of the hinge)? That's where they usually are. The 'Proof of Purchase' != UPC!!!!! This has been said many times in this thread, why won't people read?

I don't know, I'm looking at the LotR DVD case right now, and I don't see it anyplace other than on the back-side insert. In order to get it, you'll have to cut a small square out of your DVD insert...
