Hmmmmmm.. what's with US News and World Report charging .99 to start delivery. I, until this day, have never given freebizmag any financial info and don't plan on starting now. This some trickery to get an opt-out paid subscription after the trial runs out?

If you look at anandtech archives or any other site like this forum, you will see that plenty of people have been happy with free stuff they got from freebizmags


so basically, if you don't like my posts, fine, don't bother getting free stuff
but that's no reason to crap on every single one of my posts

Maybe you should consider getting that chip off of your shoulder. Usernamemax was just making a comment about his experience with "free magazines," just as others mention their experiences with rebates (e.g. New Rochelle, OM rebate) and other deals. If you re-read his post, nothing was said to personally attack you, so there's no need to get your panties in a bunch.

No thread crapping. If the subject matter of a deal does not interest you, do not post negative comments about it, or about other members, in the thread.


As you can tell by how long I have been a member and how few posts I have, I tend to not post unless I feel I have something usefull or important to say. If other members felt this way or at a minimum followed the forum rules, then the forum would be a much nicer place.

This may be so they can count it "paid subscription" vs. "free distribution" - looks better

Still no go on either of the Psychology Today links, but thanks for the thought. I'm guessing they have a quota for how many of each subscription they give away and that this one filled up more quickly than some others...
