Please put down the crack pipe.

It would have been a little more fair if the Veyron was put up against the Exige S. It would have still gotten slaughtered.... but not quite as bad.
And even less bad slaughtering would be the Lotus Sport Exige.

I believe he was talking about the Carrera GT. Not 100% sure.

MBrown is correct, it's the Veyron.

The Exige S is blown. It's an Exige with a supercharger with 240hp and a bit more weight.
The Sport Exige was a specially designed car made for a very rich Malaysian (I believe) client. Ultra lightweight dry CF widebody (1873 lbs), 400hp dry-sumped normally aspirated v6, Hewland sequential transmission, 8-point rollcage, Ohlins ST44 dampers, AP brakes, etc.

No I meant a Veyron compared to a Carrera GT not a Mclaren F1.

You might point out at this juncture that the McLaren F1 could top 240mph, but at that speed it was pretty much out of control. And anyway it really isn?t in the same league as the Bugatti. In a drag race you could let the McLaren get to 120mph before setting off in the Veyron. And you?d still get to 200mph first. The Bugatti is way, way faster than anything else the roads have seen.

I'm sure he was talking about the Carrera GT without seeing the episode. Jeremy Clarkson hates everything Porsche and will always go for a punchline one one.......................In reguards to the Veyron hitting 200 first: Big F-N Deal.....For probably 50k or less you could make a dragster muscle car with comparible handling. The Veyron is a boat. The Carrera GT would smoke a Veyron around the ring or any other worldclass track.

Ah, gotcha. Still incorrect.

Correct. The regular Exige is just a regular Elise with a new body, new suspension, ect.. Much more track oriented. The HP is the same as the Elise however... Around 190, right?
The Exige S is the one featured on Top Gear a few weeks ago.
