in reality the LSx engines are back heavy more than many of the powerplants they replace. so it does make them better overall.
I don't know where the fuck AMG engines come into play....the reason you don't see things like that is cost. The LSx setup is usually extremely cheap to equal power to weight powerplants.

Sadly, it IS heavier, almost 100 pounds heavier. FI adds more parts and weight(and complexity), period, learn some common sense.
