Hello,

Does anyone own a Series 6 sactional sofa set? I'm seriously contemplating purchasing a set for my small 1BR apt, however they are expensive.

I'm drawn to the small form-factor, and ability to machine wash the covers given I have 3 young children.

Any thoughts, guidance, etc. is most appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Take care

Also think about being able to carry your couch up to your apartment house etc by yourself.

they sell giant bean bag chairs, called lovesacs. there used to be a shop for them in my local mall, but they have been gone from there a long time. i didnt even know they were still around.

The one complaint I've always had about sectionals is that I don't get an opportunity to weave my legs between the legs of another individual sitting perpendicular to me. Finally, a company that listens to the complaints of literally no one and responds in a way that would impress M.C. Escher.

my nuts better be damn comfortable in those. Looks like something you see in a multi function room at a college dorm.

Would be great for a harem as well.

Yeah I have about 8 sections of it to make a large sofa with chaises. They are modular and I don't have many complaints. I got them 50% off on a black Friday a few years back. I would not consider paying full price. Very easy to move on stairs unlike traditional one piece furniture which is a bitch on stairs.. They are good for a casual room like a family room or game room, but lack finesse for formal rooms like living rooms or "old money" type rooms.

Thanks for the response. My apt is on the 3rd floor so not having to haul large furniture up those flights of stairs would be ideal.

I too have seen comments regarding their Black Friday sales, so I'm thinking of just holding off and taking my chances on Black Friday. Currently I've been quoted a price of approx $3500+ for a setup I'm interested in which is quite basic IMO. The most expensive part of the package are the covers!

I was just hoping to get some additional feedback from actual owners.

The other posts are hilarious and ironically appropriate. I too wouldn't have thought to check-out such a store, but I was in a mall and I just saw the setup they had at the front and was drawn to it because of it's smaller size and the ability to configure the setup in many ways seemed equally appealing. Plus being able to just machine wash the covers is ideal for my needs. Yeah, I could always steam-vac, but.....

I've checked out IKEA, eh not so much there for my taste. And the only other store I want to check out is LaZboy.
