Loving ProjectFi with my Nexus6P

I was lucky enough to get the phone today! Really enjoying pure Android without the fluff. My only gripe with this device is a severe lack of manual control in the in the camera app. It's frustrating to have a great sensor limited by a basic app. Not having much luck finding a 3rd party app that works well with 6.0 and the nexus hardware. :\

Still waiting for Google to transfer my number. That'll likely happen in the next day or so.

You have a protective case for it yet? I want one that makes the N6P less slippery yet adds very little bulk..... impossible?

Looks like it helps with the grip without adding too much bulk. I'll let you know how well it works.

You have a protective case for it yet? I want one that makes the N6P less slippery yet adds very little bulk..... impossible?

I use Spigen thin fit cases for all of my phones including my Nexus 6P. Provides some protection with minimal bulk but it provides some grip and allow me to use the phone with one hand for the majority of the time and it separates the power and volume buttons for less accidental contact with them as they recessed along the case.

As of now, I'm paying 35 a month with cricket...

AutoPay, and all you can text and talk with 2.5 gigs.

Yeah, it's on ATT network, but it's the strongest signal in the hood, sadly, but, with cricket it's fast 2.5 gigs of 4G. Top that off, I've not experienced it, but I suppose, if I went over my limit, there is no charge and the speed is suppose to drop down to edge. Slow as hell... but at least I won't get a surprise bill nor do I have to worry about using up all my data.

Anyway... Seems to be working for us great. Now if I could just find 2 more people that I could trust to pay their bill to get it on a 4 line at 25 bucks a month ... Sigh...

I wish cricket would just let people pay say 300 bucks a for a year's worth of service. I'd do that yearly.

I might be moving to Fi in the near future...still holding on for dear life to an AT&T unlimited plan (family plan too) even though I don't use that much data (very occasionally). Since AT&T is increasing the monthly rate by $5 I can get out of my contract without paying ETF for 60 days after the rate change.

I might try out Fi while the last contract in the family plan (iphone 6S, so another year to go) finishes up and we'll move to T-Mobile or Verizon or at least restructure with AT&T.

So the fee increase has finally hit my AT&T account so I'm now free to change without the ETF. Just ordered by Project Fi Sim card, now I only have to deal with my family account with AT&T...
