i bought from zones a lot.. i think it's not bad..that seem like a decent notebook except for the video card... dont think the blade is any good..

I just watched a DVD movie on an HP 1GhZ athlon Laptop with the Blade Video.......REALLY impressive quality...no frame loss, skipping etc

Haven't tried palying any decent games on it though

hey guys..KDS is a nice laptop..but there are other brands there too...

there is a nice IBM thinkpad that is a little less speed, but seling for only 100 dollars more..in my opinion..thinkpads are better than the KDS...there are tons

I tried out a KDS laptop at Sam's Club once because I was going to order from buy.com about a year ago when they had a special on it. The KDS computer felt pretty cheap, at least on the keyboard, and cheap is not really something you want for a laptop because they have higher failure rates and likelihood of breaking than PCs anyway. I have a IBM T20 and am very pleased with it.

This is definitely not a bad deal for a 1ghz with all the fixins, though.

Just to warn you guys, but this may be a desktop Pentium that's running the notebook. I remember back when buy.com had their special and it was a desktop Pentium running the system which means less battery life. It doesn't say anywhere on the site that it's a mobile cpu or that it has speedstep technology. So just be careful if battery life is very important for you, but then again, for this price you can just go out and buy an extra battery. Anyways, nice deal.

Theres a dell deal right now thats about the same specs and price for a inspiron 2600 and you get 3 free DVDs, IMHO a dell would be a safer investment, and you get free shipping and no tax

thats the one thing I always make sure it has.. But usually its only the non-name brands which do it (Sager for example).
