Hi everyone. I'm trying to build a DIRT CHEAP computer and I'm stuck between the AMD 6570 and 6670. Is it worth going from the AMD 6570 (DDR3) --> AMD 6670 (DDR3) --> AMD 6670 (GDDR5)? Which one is the best bang for the buck?
7750 is one of the most power efficient cards released. Take a look, albeit it's more expensive.
Hi man,
what exactly is your budget? Because as you said, even a very low-end card could run SC2 on medium settings. What is your screen res? If you're willing to spend about $120 you could max out SC2 or DiRT
Ah, not bad. Any specific brands of the 7750 I should be looking for?? Preferably single slot.
----snip--- Ran some stress tests on PCmark7 and Kombustor and the card will peak out at 49C which is great for fan-less card. ----snip--
I figour something like this would be nice to have (fanless = 0 noise):
HIS iSilence H775P1GD (Radeon HD 7750) ~99$
A random dude on newegg:
In most things a 7750 is right around where a 5770 is (slightly above the 450),
sometimes abit faster (than the 5770). So its a decent card, as long as your willing to not use ultra high settings, with high AA ect.
This is the highest rated performance/watt card on the market, judgeing by Techpowerup.com chart. The 7750 has like 5watt idle use, and 43watts avg use.
IMO, this is one of the best single-slot 7750's around. Cool and quiet. Just read the reviews. However, pay attention to its length, it's a bit longer due to the cooling design.Ah, not bad. Any specific brands of the 7750 I should be looking for?? Preferably single slot.
