LOW GPA = NO JOB?

A lot of big companies are recruiting on my campus now, but they all want to see my transcript, since my GPA = suck, do I have any chance at all?

I'm in the same boat as you - I, however, have a portfolio for graphic design jobs (hopefully) that'll work . . ..

And prior manager skills, to boot.

(Basically, I think both you and I have to pad up our resumes with other facets of our daily, mundane lives . . ..)

Yes, I have a lot of experiences too.

But companies are telling us to apply online, and since they use resumer scanner, I don't think they would even bother looking at people with low GPA.

Then you have to go work for a lower-end company, and claw your up to the top - thankfully for me, I disdain being a corporate whore, so I'm not too worried . . ..

If this program were so easy than it wouldn't be in "top" 5.

But since it is in the top 5, and you were accepted, the school thinks you are capable of excelling at your education, which you aren't. So you're either lazy or stupid. Which one is it?

It's still 4.0.

No more than 10% of the people in the class get that kind mark.
