Don't know if Home Depot will accept a Lowes coupon but they also offer a 10% off coupon for recent homebuyers. Unfortunately, mine expired before I could think of anything I needed (I'd already gotten alot of stuff at Lowes and used their 10% coupon). Check the Post Office.

Personally, I didn't do anything. I submitted an I've-moved-so-forward-my-mail-to-the-new-address form at the Post Office and a week or two later I received a boatload of coupons from them. Obviously, the coupons will vary with location but I remember getting: a 10% Lowes, 10% Home Depot, 20% Linens 'n' Things, one for Sears (don't recall the %) and some other less-useful coupons (carpet cleaning, replacement gutters, etc).

It's not his. This particular code has been linked all over the Internet. I figure the majority of people who try to use it will get denied; some will be able to get a manager to override. The cashiers themselves can't override.

The trick is to take the Lowe's coupon over to Home Depot - they will honor it. They have no way to know that it's a one-time coupon! I did it and I know others who have this week.

Tell home depot that you are moving into a new home. They send out a big pack of coupons for stuff you need, but never have. So does sears. Stuff like hose, hose reals, gartdening tools, yada yada.
