The commando game was good, and a bit too short. Would probably make a pretty fun coop game though.

Most of these offereings are rather meh though. I'd be much more interested in some of the older titles so they'd become modern OS compatible - xwing/tiefighter/xwing-v-tiefighter/star wars rebellion.

I'm sure they'll measure the success of it then release another set of games. This is from the Lucas Arts website:

"In this first round of releases, ten fan-favorite LucasArts PC games will be made available Wednesday, July 8 on Steam®, Valve Corporation's delivery and management platform for the PC. Scheduled for release are classic adventure titles like LOOM and The Dig and hit action games including Star Wars Battlefront II and Star Wars Republic Commando."

That show they'll be more coming.

Fortunately, I still have all the adventure games except Zak McKracken, Last Crusade and Loom. But, this may be a good opportunity to get a digital copy of one or two games whose media is beginning to die on me. If there is a big bundle pack I would get that.

I remember playing Loom when it first came out. Spent hours at the game.

I wonder if there will be a package deal when the release them tomorrow. That would be sweet.

Republic Commando is a fun game. It almost makes up for the giant turds Lucas left around the place with his prequels.

I've played Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb and really liked it. Is Fate of Atlantis similar (graphics and gameplay)?

Whoa, I found some screenshots, (no youtube at work). It looks a little turn based, but if I ever buy a Wii, it's supposed to be included with Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.

Fate of Atlantis probably is THE BEST point-and-click adventure out there (together with MonkeyIsland2)

You steer Indy with the mouse, have several key verbs to interact with the world and can choose 3 basic paths to complete the game. Either as a team with Sophia Hapgood, alone with your wits, or alone with your fists.
The plot is REALLY REALLY good. At some time during the 90s there were even rumors that the plot would be choosen for an Indy4 movie. It's a really, really good game. Try to get the CD-Rom version of it and you have full speech with a pretty good Harrison Ford imitator.

Anyone know if Fate of Atlantis and/or Loom include the fancy deluxe (at the time) editions w/ speech?
