I'm glad someone got it right.
The family guy theme song is misquoted very often, but it boggles my mind that some people think that the person who writes what may just be the greatest cartoon ever could possibly mess up the theme song.

yep. ive even read where people swear there are different openings and that stewie says 'effin (f'n) cry' instead of 'laugh and cry' on some of them. ive listened closely and could see where people could think that, but never once before reading that did i ever think thats what he said. i always and still do hear 'laugh and cry'.

I thought he did say f'in cry. I never heard laugh and cry. And I guess it does make more sense as lucky there's a family guy, but I listened to it again and it sounds more like is!!!

ive watched every episode on dvd with closed captioning on, and i see/hear/read the same thing every single time. the lyrics as posted earlier done by the entire family and the way i hear the stewie part. but i have been wrong before. once. actually, me and my friends were both kinda right.

I've just watched the intros to nine episodes from Season 3, and it's "Laugh and cry" every time.
