Just thought I help those who missed the deal for HP. Anyway this laptop is alot more decent then the HP. 256 DDR ram, radeon IGP and a pretty decent battery life of 2 hours and 50 minutes according to review. BTW I support am an AMD supporter so this makes it even a hotter deal for me. Go AMD and ATI. GO AAAAA.

I didn't quite follow ... $75 is a B&M coupon? What is BTO? And, can you use "online coupon for BTO" if you are at the B&M?

You can use the $30 off coupon and the $50 off $300 coupon together at Staples B&M. The $50 off $300 coupon is printable so you cannot use it online. The $30 off coupon can be used at Staples B&M but only if you're lucky. What I did was added my Compaq Presario 1500T to my Staples.com cart, entered the $30 off coupon and free luggage coupons then screen printed that and took it into my local B&M. They also waived the $75 shipping fee (this is NOT A COUPON) because I ordered at my local Staples B&M kiosk instead of ordering online at Staples.com

No, that's the compaq MIR for retail models. The compaq MIR for BTO models ends on 10/12.

BTW, I can't decide either whether to go for the Compaq $100 before 10/12 or wait for Staples' $150 MIR on 10/13.

Does anyone know where you can get the 802.11b Multiport adapter mentioned in the review? They don't offer it on staples.com. They offer the bluetooth Multiport adapter but no the 802.11b. They do offer the 802.11b adapter on Compaq / HP website. I would really like this adapter, especially since it only has 1 pcmcia slot. I would hate to use that up with a wireless networking card.

the $75 off is not a coupon, basically you ask staples B&M to waive your $75 shipping fee, but you milage may vary.

I would strongly recommend upgrading to the 66 WHr battery for an extra $29, it's worth every penny, trust me.

Remember to order at Staples B&M they might waive your $75 shipping fee.

The Free WiFi card offer expired 9/30/2002 I think.

The 900Z with the Athlon doesn't have the configurable option of 66WHr battery. The 1500T has that option though. Well, at least that's what I see on staples.com
