Well some of us dont. Cuz some of us didnt wanna wait 2 years for Nokia to finally get their shit together, so some of us got other phones. And some of us didnt wanna buy a new Windows phone when we already knew damn well WP7 wasnt going to get any more support. So some of us will never know how cool Nokias navigation is.

How is Google Voice integration on Windows phone? I use Google Voice number as my primary cell number. On Android it's seamlessly integrated so I don't have to open the app to use it to call. Is it the same on Windows phone?

Last I heard WP7 doesn't even have an official Google Voice app.

Microsoft polish? Are you talking about a different Microsoft? The Microsoft I know releases buggy bloatware that needs patched every month.

Windows gets patched every month because no operating system is immune from bugs and exploits.

He trolls in almost every MS thread.

You're the one who is trolling by making it about me, and not about the phone or the operating system.

98% of smartphones customers didn't want Windows on their phone. I'm with the majority.

I like my MS keyboard.

You're either trolling or ignorant take your pick

No more accusations of trolling by either of you, please.

Ah yes, the Lumia series. The only line of phones that fit a 4.3 inch screen on a body that was designed for a 4.8 inch one.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't care for Nokia's industrial design. Too much bezel and too bulky for what you get (the 920 looks to continue that trend). I don't care how 'nice' they feel. In the end, it's still just a phone and you gotta put a case around it anyways. I'd rather have the Samsung Ativ that's coming out.

Most customers have said they dont want this. Whether or they want they want this, which is what most people have experience with, has yet to be decided.

Windows CE actually had higher market share than Windows Phone 7. The competition wasn't as good back then. Now everyone wants Android or an iPhone.

I share the same thought.
The 900 is a nice design but for a 4.3" screen it has a huge footprint.
The original Lumia design, the N9 was almost perfect.
It has a 4" screen but the footprint was smaller than a comparable Galaxy S1.
Somewhere after the N9, Nokia made the 800 with the exact dimension but only a 3.7" screen
The leaked pics are nice but I hope Nokia shrunk down the thickness.
I would really like to made my next WP8 phone a Nokia but if its chunky like the 900, I will get the Samsung Ativ as much as I don't want to support Samsung.

Looks like the real pureview dreams of the 920 are crushed.

http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/3/3286656/nokia-lumia-920-wireless-charging-specs-camera-pureview

I would say that the 820 is the better phone now. Has SD support and not a huge and thick like the 920. I could of forgiven the size of the 920 if it had the real pureview sensor and not substandard 900 sensor.

I think HTC might get my money this time around with its W8 phone if the LED notications are true. Hopefully there will be a real pureview phone by march for my wifes upgrade.

Based on that graph MOST people did not make the switch to WP7. Looks like they abandoned Microsoft entirely.

I like the phone but I think those are some ugly ass colors they've picked. If Verizon gets off it's ass and carries it I think I might find myself a black or grey one though.

1.5GHz S4 processor, 4.5" curved glass HD screen, NFC, 8 MP 'PureView' camera with 'floating lens' technology, new touch screen tech that allows you to use gloves, wireless charging

The 820 sounds like the better option with the micro-sd slot assuming it has all of the other features the 920 has.

We got a couple of nuggets. Some of the new camera features, screenshot capability...

True i should probably rephrase that to stuff i personally was curious about lol. Like how it will interact with W8, USB mass transfer, wether it will be able to play videos without re-coding them through the sync app first etc

Though pureview 41+ MP would've been nice (you can digital zoom a shit load without a noticeable loss in quality) But honestly, in the camera world, it'll bring more bad than good... especially on a small sized sensor!

But, these are likely to come onto AT&T so I wouldn't be able to touch it at all.. Funny, I just got my nexus 7 device, and though it's infinitely faster than my EVO 4G, it's still not quite iPhone fast. I think it's the input lag... not quite iOS 1ms all the time.. it seems as if when something bogs it down a bit, the touch input goes up higher.. But anyways, love the Nexus 7! WP7/8 I'm sure will be closer to iOS 1ms all the time...

Does it have LTE? Is it coming to the largest carrier in the US?

We won't know that for at least another month. However, if you glanced at the specs on Nokia's website, it doesn't show any CDMA compatibility with Sprint/Verizon. It only shows WCDMA which isn't used by those carriers. Sure, the device will have LTE, but without CDMA built-in, it won't be released on those carriers.
