I like sprint, but I hate how they don't have any MS phones.. (or barely). I know they invested too much into apple and android, but I really want that 920!!! damn it!
They actually had the most WinMo hardware back in the day. When WP7 caught on they only got one. And it wasnt a great one.
I think he meant when it was released
But if WP8 will catch on like apple, then it'll be like waiting for the iphone on sprint: only when it's insanely popular. They already got burned by the pre (which is my favorite OS so far, but of course, it's still insanely slow)
There's a guy on WPCentral that swears he has access to some fairly high level info for Verizon and says that Verizon will be getting a 922 (or similar type number) in time for Thanksgiving and big Red will be pushing WP8 devices heavily via Black Friday sales.
Take that for what you will...
Well, there still isn't an official Dropbox app. Or Pulse or Flipboard. How well does the WP8 app ecosystem stack up to iOS and Android? I'm talking about core quality apps and games here, not raw numbers.

yesterday i saw an indian chick yelling into a blue nokia phone. i thought "lol i just came across the only person in the bay area to buy one of those..." it would be cooler to be yelling into a win8 phone on verizon
Fascinating tale chap.
Wait, no....
Lame.
Tell a better story next time.
Also, which model?

Integration with non-Microsoft services, the fact that other people are already signed up for it, Microsoft's rather invasive TOS...What are the advantages of Dropbox over Skydrive?

There's no official Google Drive app either.
Lumia 920 is an exclusive to At&t because that is their marketing strategy. Nokia only wanted one carrier per country to sell it. Seeing there is plenty of buzz surrounding the phone, it is easy to second-guess that strategy.
For Verizon, they most likely will have at least the Lumia 820 and HTC 8X. At&t will probably have the 920, 8X, and ATIV S. No word on what T-Mobile will have. Maybe the 8S, but this is just a guess.

No official Google Voice app either. That is the deal killer for me. I need Google Voice as I use it for every call.
He's probably giving out his GV number and pretending his official number doesn't exist. I've just started doing this, as I didn't know how transparent "use GV for every call" really was.Why do you use it for every call?
