Early adoption/new hardware bug. I probably would have picked up a 5870 and played with it, but I kept telling myself Fermi would be launched any minute for Xmas. We know how that turned out.
EOL = Out of warranty ( they do this to trick people into buying stuff with so called "lifetime warranty" when they really mean 2 or 3 years or less)

PNY is a brand new company but they are selling items(there prices are high)as if there products have been around for a long time, I'm not suggesting there good or bad Simply my observation.
