And, I've never understood why you always try to harp on me for wearing gear when I ride. It's as though being squidly is a badge of honor with you and you're proud of it.

It's because real men only wear a leather vest and a dorag when they ride, assless leather chaps are optional.

So is the Panigale. I know plenty of people who ride 1098/1198's on the street.

I've ridden sportbikes and I don't find them to be particularly comfortable. Can't imagine the BMW is much different. They are great fun to ride though.

Ever owned a bike of your own? How many years/thousands of miles of experience do you have?

There are guys driving Lotus Elises as a daily driver and bragging how comfortable they are too.

squidly, lolz.

Lolz, if there are, they must be manlets. :awe:

I'd love to own one but living with it on a daily basis would probably get old quickly. Then again, my commute is 60 miles round trip with lots of stop and go.

It's been used with bikes for a long time too. Though I think it did originate with the cars.

Regardless, it does bug me to see it described as an M in bike form. BMW was building and racing bikes before cars. Airheads forever!

Know a guy with a lotus elise and he does not brag about the comfort. In fact he said its the most uncomfortable bitch to spend any long periods of time in. He brought it on our last car cruise and looking inside I can see that. It also handles like its on rails though so you pick your battles. His wife is so great for letting him go nuts with the man toys. They've got a BMW 1 series and now that car.

My wife has no influence on what I buy or not buy, IMHO that would take all the fun out of whatever I was 'allowed' too.

Most professionals that want an Elise would just buy one. They are pretty low cost for a dual duty track/street car for the performance. Although most would rather have a bike and a jetski or something else....plus being easier to store.

No; troll, it isn't.
I'd look up the comparsions between the Ducatti I mentioned and the BMW bike and just the Ducatti comments in general about it's duty as a GOOD street bike.

so either you have misquoted SA or changed his quote. how, and why, would you quote something that was edited 4 hours earlier with, "not worth it."?

Oh wow... That is my unedited original first post of the three. Too bad he didn't quote the other 2, although I'm not surprised as he couldn't have much to say in regards to being called out for what he's doing here in ATG.

Now, as to how he got ahold of my unedited post.. The most likely answer is he's the famed anandtech DB admin.

It explains a few things - for one, that would be why the forums are down so much and have so many issues. Second, it explains why the mods have been lenient in not flat-out banning him for his blatant trolling.

No joke it's clear what I'm trying to do, which is get you permabanned from ATG.

Your little subtle trollposts trying to get jules and others here in the garage riled up are blatantly obvious (comments about ducati, about the lotus, about mr2s, making comments about people you've read from L&R and then posting it in other places).

You've turned the garage into a cesspool where our best members are gone directly due to your immature need for attention which is directed into trolling the garage and L&R.

You start topics with subtle intention to get members riled up, and as the mods have cracked down you've resorted to crap threads like this that are purely for your own trolling entertainment.

We are all sick of you. Our best ATG members basically don't even post anymore. We've had a couple of really good posters who provide actual content get banned directly because of you.

Alky, you provide nothing to this forum. You're basically getting pushed out of here just like you get pushed out of groups in real life. Act like a immature douchebag and get treated like one.

Keep this up and you're going to end up with no friends in your online life either.

The Ducati was brought up and it has indeed already been compared to this bike:
http://www.s1000rrforum.com/forum/b...sion/8778-bmw-s1000rr-vs-ducati-1199-a-2.html

I am getting pushed out of here due to seething jealousy like yourself that doesn't even know which model generation of BMW they "own", lied he had a european storagebox from the factory, along with a carbon fiber diffuser.

It's you that are trolling just like now. If you cannot add to my threads on-topic, please go EMO to the mods.

I'm pretty sure most of the people you think have "seething jealousy" could also own a used M3 if they so desired. The indirect personal attacks on your part are quite unbecoming.

Alky trust me, there is absolutely no one here who is jealous of you. Not you, not your car, or your personality.

You are either incredibly deluded and unable to see yourself for who you are, or the best troll this forum has ever seen. Personally I think you know exactly what you're doing, i.e. trolling.

I'm not going to address your 'typical' attacks (bringing up crap from other threads) on anyone who calls you out.

YOU derailed your thread. You were the first to poke at ducati crap out of nowhere, trying to get a rise out of jules. That didn't work so you start on lotus stuff. That didn't work so you poke at him wearing gear.

This thread is a perfect example of the subtle things you do to try and get people riled up. Hell, even I saw it and edited my post - just to have you copy/paste it back in from your email?? This is the most blatant trolling I've seen you do, and I hope to see you banned from here for it. It is a clear indicator of why you're here, and it is not to talk about friggin bicycles or motorcycles or cars. You made this thread to get a rise out of the forum, and when that didn't work you resorted to modify my posts to try and push things further.

I hope B, P, and the other mods take a close look at this thread and read between the lines on what you're doing.

No, indeed most that crap on these posts CANNOT afford a $40k car new, yet alone "used".

I chose to go with the last year they made the E46 M3 for a reason, and why I found one with less than 30k miles on it.

It's the same little-minded group of people that are all pissed off about the 'paycheck' challenge in OT.

If they weren't jealous, they'd ignore it.

It's clear again you are just making stuff up in attempts to derail yet another thread.

The ducati was brought up so I responded.

You go off in tangents in everything you post. If you feel you are so right, go to the mods don't cry and whine here like a child.

"OHHH I AM GOING TO GET YOU PERMBANNED Y0!"

it's getting old.

Alky I and others would ignore it if it didn't have such a drastic affect on this subforum in particular. Your trollposting "style" has pushed away at least 4 or 5 of our best posters. You intentially but subtly bring up sensitive hot topics to try to get a rise out of people. It's clear you aren't trying to add anything of substance to any topic you post in - period.

The garage (and L&R for that matter) is a completely different place now than it was 6-7 months ago before you got bored with your typical antics in OT - both in quality and quantity of posts. You 'ruin' every thread you post in. You have essentially made this a frustrating place to be.

And don't be mistaken.. this is about YOU. Every time it comes up you point fingers all over the place.. The people that hate you, the people that are jealous of you, the people who pick on you, the people who have no life. Has it occurred to you that maybe YOU are the one causing this?

Eventually you have to get to an age where you realize that when shit follows you everywhere it's probably coming out of your own ass.
