M-ITX Caselabs S3 soon to be released. Looks interesting.

Was bored last night and wound up over at overclock.net

Came across the Caselabs M-ITX thread and thought it was quite interesting. Looks like these guys make some nice cases! Guess they decided to plunge into the M-ITX arena.

Although it's not a tiny case it looks like it has some potential for a nice water cooled portable LAN rig. The layout looks like it was well thought out. Interesting use of space! With the power supply below the MB it looks like it wouldn't be hard to have a tidy rig. It does look like there are mounts on the wall beside the power supply for a HDD and a SSD.

Kinda pricey starting at $199 but is made of high quality aluminum

This optional motherboard tray is only $8.98 and allows for two SSD's in stealth mode

Triple slot video card compatability is a nice feature!

I dont get this subject. Why buy a more expensive Mini-ITX motherboard and put it in a giant case that is larger than a MATX case? Just buy the less expensive MATX motherboard.

Niche market designed from the ground up for water cooling. Although it may be bigger than smaller m-atx cases it packs a whole lotta cooling potential. I doubt you could find a m-atx case with the same cooling potential in a smaller footprint.

Yep. Design looks to be the smallest possible with deeping the dual 240 support without loosing the rear 120/140mm fan support.

I would add that this is probably built for WC. Many already have said a dual 240 support. Maybe even some some slim radiators in the front intake.

You can fit way more than a slim radiator in the front intakes. Look at the motherboard tray, an m-ITX motherboard is no bigger, then look at the clearance between it and the front.

That radiator is an Alphacool Monsta 240mm.

I kind of like the look without the window better. The solid side looks OK too but might hamper video card cooling....Unless one goes water with it I guess.

Not a big fan of white but it sure is Purdy!

Really like the look of the Caselabs cases. Might just have to pick one up in the future!
