Mac equivelent for power-point?

I'm doing a history presentation and I've decided to do a slideshow as a secondary guide.

However, because my other computer is trashed I'm stuck working on my school sponsored macbook.


It's loaded with programs like comiclife, iweb, etc..


No use downloading power-point because they've restricted installation access.


I need to have it looking similar to this:

I know it's a pdf file but I'm pretty sure he converted it in order to project it in the classroom.



I need to have it on individual slides, so I can clicker the presentation from slide-to-slide whenever I want.

I'm pretty sure he used iweb, but I still don't know.



I really really need some help. Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Apple equivalent to PowerPoint would be Keynote which is part of the iwork suite.

You can also use Openoffice on the Mac with its presentation app called impress. If you do not want to pay for keynote. However, the installation can be a little harder as it requires X11. Instructions are on this site http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/

You can also use NeoOffice (also free), which is an OpenOffice port that doesn't require X11 and is developed by a third party. Eventually there will be an Aqua version of OpenOffice (by the OpenOffice developers).
