And I have yet to see macs do really well what PCs do really well, network. I used to help run a 400+ PC network running NT. There was one Lab of 20 macs which gave us more problems than the PCs combined.
mmm.. I have been working on Macs and PCs for 1 year now and I have the opposite experience.. PCs are usually the one that is giving me problems.. Mac you plug them into ethernet port and they all see each other with no problems doesn't matter what OS you are on. PC wise you have to confiure the Tcp/ip or ipx and if you have different network card then sometimes one network card not compatiable with the other so they don't see each other on the network.. with Mac i never had that happened to me before.
Whatta complete mook. Personality my ass.
PC users often mod their case why? to personalize it.. to say my tower is unique.. to give it a little personality.. that's how i c it anyways..
I gotta admit what Hiero is scary but up till now I have not met them
All I have to say is that Mac users are some of the most arrogant, cheapest, freakiest people I've ever met.
I don't know about arrogant from what you put
These people come into the store and just stay there for hours, talking to each other about their personal lives they seemed pretty friendly making friends and stuff
cheapest? I personally know a guy that last year personally purchased 35 Imacs for a school and continusly buying new education softwares for "his" imacs. plus i don't think they are cheapest just look at the Macs that they are purchasing Macs are known for its pricy components/systems.
Personally I prefer PC but I see how easy macs are for education purposes for little kids. Also i think that the reason there are not a lot of softwares or hardwares support for Mac is that Appls F*ed up earlier in the stage on advertising and wrong frame of mind set.
- The cost of computer is too high... SCSI cost way too much
- they didn't advertise it well
- I think this is the main one.. is that thinking that people will go for quality instead of the price
because they had a bad start and consumers all purchase PC so all the manaufacturs start focusing on PC hardwares and softwares causing apple to lose their market..
I think that if they didn't go for SCSI or somehow make the price lower and advertise well i believe that we will see a lot of support for hardware and softwares..
