I'm saying I have no issues with how my trackpad works on my laptop and have no need for it to do anything else.
And I'm saying that I, and many other people, can make use of a better trackpad.

My taskbar doesn't combine anything and is hardly clunky. One click and I have the program I want. What's so hard about that?
Some of us happen to have many applications and windows open, and the title of each window starts to get truncated, or the windows start to combine. It's simply better with Exposé, and Exposé is simply better than just seeing the small, truncated labels of windows on a thin taskbar.

I can also just use one hand on the trackpad and the taskbar. Simple.
Same as above. Not going to hover over each label to see what's in it, when I can simply explode everything into view and click on what I want.

Nope it doesn't. Also I rarely have to side scroll on anything. If I'm browsing the web I usually just need to scroll up and down.
Fantastic, some of us happen to web browse a lot more than you, or engage in non-typing-heavy activities where we won't have two hands glued to the laptop.

I don't like the Apple Trackpad. It doesn't work all the time. You have to get the gestures perfect for it to work.
Are you serious? What gestures are you having problems with? What's so difficult about putting x fingers down and moving them up, down, left, or right? I can't see how you'd have problems with the trackpad unless your fingers lack dielectric characteristics.

I often have many applications open but I never run into that problem. Of course I also have a 2560x1600 monitor. My windows never combine because I set it not to do that. Even if I have so much stuff open that labels begin to truncate, the icons are always there which lets me know what is what so again I simply click on them. I don't have to do anything extra other than click.

WTF? Well, lucky you, my 13" laptop doesn't have a 2560x1600 display.

The icons are there, but sometimes I have more than one window of the same application open: text documents, browser windows, explorer windows, etc. It's a pain to have to hover over everything to see what's in it.

I also have a laptop - 15" with a 1080p screen. I don't have issues with it either. I typically don't load as many things at once on the laptop though. I used tabbed browsing so I only need one browser window.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm not sure what that thing means. I'm going to guess that's how long the scan took. If that seems fast, well I have an SSD and my system isn't loaded down with crap.

And you don't scale the UI up? Impressive. I had a 17" 1920x1200 display and everything fucked with my eyes unless I was positioned VERY close or scaled up, which began to make things crowded again.

I have a LOT of tabs open. So much that they turn into little icons unless I have multiple windows open.

Oh, and I can go through tabs on my trackpad by putting my middle finger down and tapping the finger left or right of it to go through tabs. Oh, and I can close a tab by holding down one finger and swiping downwards with two. Oh, and I can make a new tab with a simple, angled gesture. Oh, and Exposé lets me view all those windows easily.

No I don't scale the UI up. It came that way, but I set it back. I have good eyesight so it doesn't bother me.

I can close tabs by tapping on my trackpad. Or if I'm on my PC I just use one of my extra mouse buttons. I can make a new tab by control clicking a link, hitting control + t, etc.

Assuming that's correct, you posted:

At 7:14, so.... The scan hadn't completed at that time, but the time stamp on the image is 07:00... so....

Is that a time stamp or the time it took to complete the scan (i.e. 7 minutes)?

I made a post while the program was minimized. I don't know if it was running at that time or was already finished or what. I had more important things to do than stare at the program while it scanned for nothing.

To both humor you, and prove you wrong, I am running a scan with it. I will uninstall it after it is done and post a pic.

Hmmm. I'll be back.

Ok, then. Not everyone has eyesight good enough to not be bothered with 1080p on a 15" display at normal scaling, unless they're real close to it.

Yes, you can close tabs by tapping on your trackpad, but then you have to go up to it and click the "X". I can do it without that, and I can close many tabs very rapidly since I don't have to navigate to each "X".

I'm talking about "browsing the web" activities, like just YouTubing or social networking where I have only one hand on the laptop, and Ctrl + clicking a link requires both my hands on the laptop when I really only need to have one. And to Ctrl + T, I'd have to leave the trackpad with that hand. The create-a-new-tab gesture is just so convenient.

And I don't need to lug around a multi-functional mouse and a mousing surface with my MacBook since its trackpad is so awesome.

No, I don't have to go up and click the "X", I just have to tap my trackpad and it closes the current tab.

I could also just drag a link to a new tab. But it's not really an issue since both hands are on my laptop about 95% of the time anyway. If I'm on social sites, I can't really type with a trackpad.

Oh, so you have to tap a certain area/corner. You only have so many of those, but with an trackpad, I have an infinite number of simple gestures I can do

I don't even need to drag a link to a new tab. Just tap on it with three fingers.

edit: and both my hands aren't at my laptop 95% of the time. More like 1%, unless I'm trolling a lot on ATOT.

This is a screenshot of a VM Windows 7 installation, I installed this afternoon, after having run Spybot.

It has no software on it, except firefox, and Spybot, I went to the firefox website, then the spybot website. That is all.

You are full of shit.

Ok? A few years ago, Dell wanted $500 to replace a Go 7900 GS in my '06 E1705. I thought Dell was inexpensive. That Apple deal sounds like a bargain.

So because you have a problem, I must have a problem too?

I'm guessing that's just a cookie, which is hardly an issue, however I disallow all cookies except for select websites.

If you want, I could record a video of it running and post it somewhere. But there's a baseball game on right now and also I don't give a shit what you think. I proved to you that there is nothing on my system and it is perfectly clean, just as I said it would be.
