The turbo can go from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. The blade housing is constructed a little different, I think it's got a different rubber pad and a different strip above the blades. You can use the Turbo blades with the regular Mach 3 razor, if you already have one.

Maybe someone else can shed a little more light on this.

I got the Mach 3 Turbo + screwdriver combo at the Harrisburg, PA. Target store. Decent screwdriver for a promo item. It has a little rubber collar around the base of the blade that holds 5 or 6 interchangeable bits. Looks nice, has a stylish, rubberized handgrip, but this is not a ratchet-type mechanical screwdriver. Good for keeping in the kitchen "junk drawer" when you need a versatile screwdriver quickly and you don't want to go digging your cordless screwdriver out of the toolbox. Within a week, my nine-year-old son took a liking to this screwdriver. It hasn't been seen since. Sigh. At least the price was right...

I believe the Mach 3 Turbo blade has two lubricating strips, one above and below the blades. I think they skipped the little rubber fins in favor of the second lubricating strip. I found the shave to be about 10% more comfortable than the regular Mach 3, and for what it's worth, I got five shaves each out of the two cartridges that came in the promo pack, instead of my usual 4 shaves with the regular Mach 3 blades.

i got a 4pk refill of "mach 3 turbo" for $7 @ walgreens. not sure if it's still available. great razor. i thought the mach 3 original was good untill i used the turbo and felt no resistance shaving whichever way.

EVERYONE I know has a Mach 3 Turbo. And I've seen quite a few, being at college. Sort of like how almost everyone has Old Spice High Endurance... word about high quality products gets around.

Best razor I've used, definitely. Good deal.

I have something like 9 regular Mach 3's from back when they included free movie tickets inside of the packages(I live in NYC so movies were more money than the razors so I just kept buying razors). I've gone through a bunch of blades by now, but it seems kind of silly to swap out the main Razor stick portion.

So essentially I have 8 extra bottom sticks. These ARE compatible with the Mach 3 Turbo razor blades, so if you wanna pay for shipping or live in NYC, FREE MACH 3 stems

I wonder if I could just shove these into the mail with regular mail. I do have padded envelopes, but the postage is probably gonna be more than the stupid razors are worth.

Man I hate having to shave everyday turbo does soo much more then the electric though, have to shave twice a day to get rid of those damn lil stubs...wonder if wax would get me a couple of days w/o shaving.

taking the female's way out eh... reminds me of that commercial about the guy running out of shaving cream and looks at his girlfriend's stuff and decides to shave w/o shaving cream.

Be really nice wake up brush my teeth and id be ready for class. I figure i get an extra 5-7 minutes of sleep.

What the hell are you shaving? Your German Shepard? Maybe I just shave with a dull blade longer than most, but I shave about 10-15 times with each cartridge.

Don't you guys find 3 blades a little overzealous? I tried the Mach 3 and it felt like I was ripping my face off. I've found the Sensor Excel gives me an equal quality shave with less of the irritation... I sound like a damn commercial... :disgust:

The Mach3 is too honkin' huge for shaving my upper lip. It feels like I need to shave my nose off to have room for the razor.

So what do you guys use for shave cream/lubrication? I have sensitive skin so its of high importance.

I use Noxeema Shave cream (recommended to me by a friend), but even so my shaves can be rough and painful with my Mach3 sometimes...

Anyone found anything better?

Not only do I have sensitive skin, but it is also extremely dry. I have been using Nivea shaving cream for a while, it's not bad with the Mach 3...I tried the Turbo out but didn't find that much of a diff. Ofcourse that was before I shaved everyday...now I run out of the regular mach 3 blade by the time Thursday/Friday rolls around (new blade on Monday morning for work ), not to mention a 5 o'clock shadow by lunch... I have never tried Noxema shaving cream, but since my Nivea is almost out, I think i will give it a shot!
