Macron 400W PSU pot adjustment

I have, through MBM5, a +12v rail reading of 11.73 (-12v is @ -16.20)? and +5v is 4.95 (-5v @ 6.13). I'm not exactly well versed on PSU operation, but have read that Macron PSU's have adjustable pots. I was wondering if these are adjustable or not. If so, anyone have any advice on how to do so?

I'm confused as to the -12v rail reading as well...is this just a total crap PSU? It's the only one I've got and it's been working just fine for quite awhile now. I don't o/c, but I'm thinking about it. Any advice?

I've never heard of "Macron" PSUs (Newegg doesn't carry them), and a quick Google search doesn't bring too many positive comments. If these are the specs, that's a pretty crappy 400W PSU, even just by the numbers. I have no idea if they have adjustable rails; that's usually only found on very high-quality units, which Macron does not appear to be.

I wouldn't pay attention to the negative rail readings. Nothing really uses them nowadays anyway. And you can't trust BIOS/MBM5/Everest/whatever readings to be accurate; if you want to know what the voltages *really* are, measure them with a voltmeter.

Thanks for your reply...I believe this PSU came from Directron...back in 2001.

The +12v and +5v rails just seem a little "low" to me....guess I should consider replacing...
