whats with the stupid 1440x900 resolution on them?
the Dell 15.4 in screens run 1920x1200
Hell no. 1920x1200 on a 15" would SUCK. I have 1920x1200 on a 17" and it's perfect, any smaller and it SUCKS.
my brothers lappy and my friend jojs lappy both run 1920x1200 on a 15.4 in widescreen lappy and it looks/works/functions amazingly especially when watching videos
it games fine also, tho that wont be an issue for a mac
Most consumers do NOT want 1920x1200 on a 15", thats why. 1920x1200 is great for the Dell 24" monitor, not so great on a 15" screen.

Use .Mac to share any photo album as a Photocast that others can subscribe to by clicking an email link. Once they do, your album instantly appears in their iPhoto libraries. Every photo downloads in full resolution, and updates occur automatically.

how hard is it to update the memory on one of those iMacs? seems like an okay deal with it..however, a little confusing, do you get iLife06 with the iMac...? it says 79 bux for preinstallation...79 bux to install the software?
so does it come with iLife or not?

Just something interesting i've noticed - I have not been able to find ANYWHERE on apple's site the battery life on the new Macbooks. They always used to tout the great "4 hour battery life" of the G4 Powerbooks. Wonder why its not mentioned now?
Battery life depends on configuration and use.
