So, first of all, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Second, I am sitting here with my little girl trying to watch this parade and it looks like The Rocky Horror Picture Show invaded this year. Look, I'm not anti-LBGT and there is a time and place where drag queens dancing and singing are not only appropriate but are hilarious; this parade is not one of those times. Just wanted to share my wtf is happening to this country observation with all of you. Hope you have a great holiday.

If anyone knows anyone involved with this show feel free to pass along the word that my kids don't need to be seeing Frank Furter and his friends on Thanksgiving morning.

When I turned it on, there were men prancing around in bright red, high-heeled knee boots. Followed by an interview with some bimbo from the Victoria's Secret "fashion show". Not kid-friendly.

Now I'm watching someone imitate Janis Joplin. My grandfather wouldn't have watched this long.

Sad to see something I remember so fondly turned to crap.

I spent T-day dinner with three gay people and our families. Everyone was respectful of everyone else, and a good time was had by all. Kinky Boots and Victoria's Secret never entered the conversation, much less put in an appearance.
