There are a couple of nagging problems I have with the game.
1. Max trusts people way too much. In the movies he never trusts anyone and is always out for himself until his better side comes out to help people in need.
Story/Game reasons .... it would be a pretty bad/boring game if there was only say 1000 people in the map2. There are WAY too many dudes running around, there must be 20k people in just a few square miles with no food or water. If they significantly increased the size of the world and concentrated the people in towns with very little in between it would have been more realistic I think.
Not far enough to really say.. just got the body for the new card3. The controls are a bit wonky. Maybe I am just too used to the fluid movement in Mordor.
Guess gotta do something... not overly familiar with the movies4. Why does this new Mad Max world always have to kill the fracking Interceptor at the beginning?
Well I am not that far in the game but...
How else will he rebuild is car (assuming talking about the mechanic, again not that far into game)

I was watching Totalbiscuit's port report video and he was mentioning how good the desert setting looks(not sure aesthetically or just graphically), but I got the exact opposite reaction, its looks so dull and bland other than the sand storm.
Maybe I'm just getting sick of the post apocalyptic settings.
I have no idea how guys can speed run this game at even 11 hours. There's areas you just can't get into or beat without upgrading substantially. I'm at 7 and there is still a ton to do and things I haven't gotten to yet.
How are you liking it so far? What are your experiences with the upgrade system?
Like it, but the game does hold your hand way too much. Most everything is on the map, even before visiting the area. There are a few things that pop up by visiting or speaking with someone, but otherwise it's pretty easy to set a waypoint to any specific event.
There are a ton of upgrades both for max, his abilities, your car and special cars. Also can "craft" special items in your stronghold by finding certain components. For good or bad, you can upgrade everything buy Max's abilities on the fly. Yep, you don't need a garage to upgrade the car or Max's add-ons. Seems strange, but obviously meant for the casual gamer.
One real annoyance, and counter to holding hands, is when you take possession of a car in the desert, you have to actually drive it to your stronghold in order to have access to it again. You can't use the fast travel option. See, that is a hand-hold I would have loved to have.
This looks like a game I'd enjoy immensely, but I'm trying to hold off until it's cheaper.
been playing it a bit. not bad. combat is fairly fun although tends to get repetitive and easy after awhile. Actually, I can see this whole game getting repetitive very quickly.
one thing I find annoying is that sometimes trying to find all of the scrap or whatever in the locations is hard to find. there's 1 place i went (oil producing place) and I found everything but 1 scrap. I search the place top to bottom 4 times and still couldn't fin it. even looked around outside the walls.

Are you guys playing this with KB+M or controller? I've been looking for a new game to play in my theater with a controller and hope this will do the job. Typically I'm a KB+M guy at my desk on my main gaming PC but lately I've been wanting to just sit back in my recliner and have fun on the big screen.
From what everyone is saying, it seems to be better suited to a controller.
I imagine you would have a great time sitting back on your recliner.
