I really enjoyed it and think it was well done, like all games it has it's quirks.

It's a really fun game even though it's content get repetitive. It's open world so repetitiveness is to be expected.

The world is really well rendered and it's inhabitants are both dangerous and silly in equal measures.

I think its a very good game. Needs a little polish for NPCs, as in more interaction with them. Its a massive world that has a ton of potential. I am hoping for DLC or sequels as I can see this being a huge franchise. The graphics and sound are amazing as are some of the characters. The layout and design of many areas are phenomenal. For instance, looking at some camps from the outside you would never think how intricate and large it really is until you step in and begin the mission. Great game flow. Also, load times are fast and massive. I think having a ton of memory and SSD drives helped in that regard but its fast overall. I am really hoping for DLC. I want to continue the struggle!

I watched the movie, and the game really fleshed it out for me. The characters had an added depth, because the game lets us step into their world and experience it for ourselves. I would dig getting to fight pole cats. And the Thunder Dome being accessible. So I can volunteer to take fights like in KOTOR, for scrap or something.

Love the game so far. I'm about 75 hours in and am taking the scenic route. I have almost the entire map cleared.

Absolutely worth it

It's a 3rd person open world action game set in the Mad Max world. It plays similarly to the rest of the genre, so if you like open world 3rd person action games you should like this. It's melee focused, so there's not a lot of gun play. Think of it closer to the Arkham series than Far Cry because of the combat.

What sets it apart are much better driving mechanics than others in the same genre (which makes sense given how important vehicles are in Mad Max). It also has regular sand storms which add some variety to roaming the map.

It doesn't do anything that different when it comes to 3rd person action. Everything has been done before, but this game does it well IMO.

I will caution you that I had a tough time at the beginning of the game. Your vehicle is initially weak and doesn't do much damage, and your melee combos are limited. However the upgrade system is nice and eventually you'll be tearing other vehicles apart pretty easily. Worth putting the time in and you'll have fun.

Mad Max is a frickin awesome game! I'm a huge fanboy of Crysis, the Far Cry series 1-4, etc. and I hold MM up as one of the best games I've played.

I usually don't care for 3rd person games, but MM was pretty amazing.

It's very well done. The game is detailed and beautiful and I hope they make many more.

Anyone else have a purplish tint to dark colours in underground areas? I am in borderless mode (got rid of the purplish tint EVERYWHERE when it was in fullscreen mode). It looks like it is in 8-bit colour or something...

On a side note...wish they had changed the engine sound of the V6 to something different. The V6 sounds like a V8 does in real life...car guy here so it makes a difference to me lol.
