Madden 08

Is there any hope of some fix or something coming out for this game? it is full of bugs.

EA's Madden 08 for 360, PS3 & Wii filled with bugs - EA branded unsatisfactory by Bureau

For the Wii:

? Kickers missing many of their field goal attempts in SuperStar mode
? Regular system freezes
? Connection problems during online play
? Substantial lag during online play
? Offensive players, including quarterbacks, being placed on special teams plays
? Quarterbacks often don't hand off the ball as they are supposed to during running plays
? 'No huddles' occur at random
? ?No huddles' result in offsides penalties
? Quarterbacks automatically throwing the ball as soon as it is hiked

EA fix bugs? Why should they when they already have your money?

EA is just planning to convince you to buy '09 in the hope that they've fixed some of them.

Yep, thats the EA I know. Its practically unplayable at times. Ive had winning games blown by that stupid random no huddle offsides bug.


The QB ball throwing isnt a bug AFAIK...it just happens when youre holding the dpad as you hike - the force of your hike stopping is translated into a pass.

I heard it was great... minus the bugs. Isn't that the norm these days though? W/ EA anyway.

Thanks to NFL and EA, there is no competition. Expect low quality football games for many years to come.

The immediate QB ball throw is not when your holding the D pad. It happens to me a few times a game. Almost always either a waste of a down at best case, or turnover at wost. Best way i have found to avoid it is to make sure you dont drop the controller down after a hike

I am averaging 6 fumbles a game now, even when protecting the ball.

And the interceptions are ridiculous. One of my most recent games, I had 5 INTs, and returned 4 for TDs.

Every single kick is a touchback. I've never failed to nearly kick it out of the endzone.

Frame rate is inconsistent.

Menus are laggy.
