I was playing some practice games tonight, and playing the Patriots, I remember why I hate EA so much. Jesus Christ, what an overpowered, ridiculous pile of shit team. Magically, my receivers couldn't catch the balls while the Pats couldn't miss a single pass. Seriously, I was hitting wide open receivers directly on the hands and they were dropping it, including TD passes. Of course, Randy Moss caught a TD pass and managed to hold on, despite getting hit as he caught it and doing a complete flip in the air.

Of course, my all-time favorite (not limited to the Patriots either) is when you audible a hot route and the D shifts their players to cover it exactly the way that pattern should be covered. GREAT logic there, EA!

I think I might just take a sim this week. What a freaking joke. Madden 09 looks better all the time.

Hey everyone - sorry I vanished into thin air for so long. What was supposed to be a week vacation turned into a week vacation followed by a multi-week business trip and getting clobbered with schoolwork.

No problem. I sent an invite to you, so you should be able to rejoin whenever you want. I can continue being commissioner, but I will be out 11/25 through 12/9 so someone will need to be co-commissioner during that time or we can give the league a holiday break.

Actually, it may not be a bad idea to give it a break for at least the week of Thanksgiving (Monday, 11/23), as I am sure many folks will have issues getting their games in.

I am going to bow out or you can boot me. I am scheduled to play the Chargers again this week. This is the same guy who never responded to previous messages to play. I checked his schedule and he has multiple games that show as never even started. Seeing how low the number of players in the league is now and other games that never get played, I am thinking there is just not much interest anymore. In the end I had a whopping one online game in the league.
