Flex scheduling was last year's model. Did they carry that forward to Madden 10? Aren't they offering a more persistent online franchise mode with more than one season, injuries, and traditional scheduling, a la NCAA? Honestly, if this is not an option and it's just like last year, I'm out, but I could have sworn I read that the online franchise was like NCAA 09 was.

I thought I saw a video or read somewhere also that the games were tied to the real NFL season in Madden 10 so the games have to be played the week of the real games. So if someone got injured then they would also be injured in the game to make it more realistic?

I've played a bit - and I'm not a big fan of the accelerated clock. Especially if you know what you're doing and know where the plays you want are, it really eats up a 5-minute quarter very quickly.

Yes, just go to the Xbox Live section - then go to Depth Chart, or play a game or whatever. It will ask you to update your rosters. The new roster is without Burress.

Can you clarify what day the week will be advanced? Are we looking at playing one game a week(i.e. advancing every Sunday?).

It looks like it has to be manually advanced by the commish and there is NO flex scheduling, meaning if a match up isn't played out by the week deadline, it will have to be simmed.

Unless everyone else has a preference, I'd say we advance it with the regular week (every Sunday). Personally, I'd really like to play 2 games per week, but with this many people on different schedules and with varying levels of commitment, 1 game per week is probably the safest guarantee that we'll finish the season without leaving people behind.

random question, but maybe someone knows. once you use the code on the back of the manual to unlock the online franchise option, is it tied to the gamertag that unlocked it or to the xbox that it was unlocked on? i have two xboxes that share a gamertag. do i have to rebuy the online franchise for the other xbox or will it already be unlocked when i recover my gamertag?

Pretty sure it is tied to your EA account, which is tied to your Gamertag.
