I am not sure I have played the Raiders on Madden 10, but I had a Chiefs franchise in 09 and can attest to the Raiders being way too good, all things considered. McFadden was like a bulldozer.

You are absolutely correct. After my first human v human game last night, I'm tempted to never play offline again. It was such a more realistic experience. I like to mix my offense up, but against the CPU, running - especially to the outside on a pitch - is next to impossible.

And notice when you call audibles, the CPU adjusts perfectly every time? Yes, it absolutely cheats.

Hmm... I can't say I know what you're talking about. I haven't seen this happen with my team nor have I seen a setting like this in the franchise. I'll check, though.

Hmm that's weird cause everything I've heard is that the "auto QB feature" does NOT work in online league play. There is no franchise/League setting to turn it on or off but each player can go into his madden settings and set it to on/off. My only guess is that maybe it WILL work when you play the CPU online which he was doing but will not work when playing someone H2H. But if it's turned "off" in your madden settings it shouldn't work period.

Yes, actually you can. It confused me at first because I was looking for a "Free Agent" category but it isn't there. You have to go into "Player Management" and then when you're on your team, use the left trigger to select the "Free Agents" team.

I'll warn you though -- it isn't pretty. Most of them suck.

I played the Dolphins and had an absolutely terrible game offensively. I won 28-10, but threw 3 INTs and had 1 fumble or the score would have been much, much worse. I'm really starting to think that I like the offense in Madden 09 better. A couple of the INTs I threw in this game would never have been INTs in Madden 09. It just seems that you can't pass with a lot of touch in 10 like you could 09. Oh well, chalk it up to me sucking and the CPU cheesing, I guess.

I have no problem intercepting the CPU; my problem is the robo CBs or the suddenly overthrown balls when I am on offense. There was a route where Collie was to run up and then in. I threw the ball before he made the cut and magically it flew over his head and into a waiting Dolphin defender's hands. That was the biggest BS INT. Another was me trying to hit a crossing pattern over the middle where the CB was trailing the WR and the WR seemed to be pulling away. As if by divine magic, the CPU CB suddenly became an Olympic-class sprinter and ran up and next to my WR to pick it off.

Throwing with touch in this game is very hard, it seems. In 2009, I could place throws in all sorts of tight spots. In 2010, it is much, much harder.

The bright side is that I did follow Cuda's advice and Addai rushed for 86 yards with a 4.5 YPC average.

They definitely nerfed this from '09 by reducing the ability/effectiveness of lead-passing. I think they did this to cut down on slant route abuse. But with CPU-controlled CB's that can teleport to intercept any pass it desires, all they've done is solved one problem and created another.

If anyone knows anyone who would like to join the franchise, please get them involved. Also, we have a few members reporting that they've had a very difficult time scheduling their games with other members. Please, folks, COMMUNICATE. If you can't play every week, that's ok (this *is* a casual league), but please be upfront with your opponents regarding your schedule and availability.
