Hey just wanted to say that I am putting Ladainian Tomlinson on the trading block. Looking for a MLB, SS, HB, or a RG. Send the Chargers a trade

Just out of curiosity, why put LT up in exchange for another back?

My gamertag is priestmvp

Guess that means I play you next week.

Cool

Sent you a PM to find out when you want to play, but it looks like you're not going to log on to AT much to check them. This league only works if we can communicate w/ everybody

It also works if you accept friend requests on XBL, which I've had up for you for the past week and respond on there. Never saw you on xbl all weekend. Usually free week nights after 7pm cst.

What I typically do is add the current week's opponent to my XBL friend's list, and then remove them once we've played. That way if they're not active on AT, we can still get in touch. BTW, if anyone ever wants to "scrimmage", let me know! I'll make time!

It is *never* too late to join, especially since the AFC needs more representation!

Welcome to the league! Just use the password to join and check your private messages here periodically to coordinate with you opponents (or via XBL, of course).

i've noticed that some people have a high TS (times started) stat for their games. you see it when you view the week's schedule. are people quitting against the CPU when they are losing and just re-playing their games until they win?

2 people were dropped from the league. 1 was my brother. he was all caught up on his games, went to play this week's and he's gone. The franchise site shows 2 people removed around the same time. What is the reason?

Beats me... I haven't removed anyone, and no one else has the ability to do so. He's more than welcome to join again - hopefully he'll keep his record, but I truly have no idea what happened.

Well i thought the comish must have done it because 2 people dropped at around the same time. Weird. Maybe he accidentally clicked something and the other person dropping was a coincidence. I'll tell him to rejoin if he wants.

I also tried to play my game tonight since my opponent is out of town. It would not let me; it would only let me "invite someone to play" in his place. Not sure what that is exactly.

That is generally what that stat means. Now they could of had to go or had a power outage etc but 90% of the time it means they quit.

Edit: Another reason for people to restart their game is if one of their best players gets injured they just quit and restart so you aren't losing a good player.

Yes, please ask him to come back. I would never drop someone from our league unless they had a record of not playing any games, and even then I'd put it up to a vote among all of the owners.

OK, it looks like if you play someone who has accepted a league invite, you don't have the option of playing the CPU if he is out of town or unavailable. You have to sim it or the commissioner has to boot the player, let the other player play, and then re-invite the booted player.

What a PITA.

Makes perfect sense to me. If we were allowed to play against the CPU at all times then if one team got impatient and just played against the CPU, then the other person couldn't play their own game that week as the record and outcome has already been decided the first game.

Yes, but if that were to happen, the other player could report it to the commissioner. As it stands now, the player who is available to play now can't play and as a result, is at the mercy of a sim. That isn't fair either.

You'd think EA would give the commissioner an option to mark an owner away so that the other player could play the game. I'm sure that will be a "feature" added next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if EA purposely left out 'features' so they could add stuff next year. Not being able to change game speed, sliders, yatta yatta. A lot of things that could have made this franchise MUCH more enjoyable.
