Madden 10 League for Xbox 360

I'll take the Browns, however, I don't have my xbox live account nor madden set up yet.. Madden is on order from Newegg, should be here later this week. Is that ok?

Yep, won't be a problem (as long as there are remaining teams, which I'm sure there will be). The only hitch is that I think you'll have to assume the team's record/stats when you join. So if we're in week 4 and the team you choose lost its first 3 games as the CPU, then you'll inherit a losing record.

Cudda ran the league last year, so hopefully he'll correct me if I'm wrong.

Last year it was a flex schedule and you could play the games whenever you wanted. We didn't have any CPU controlled teams either, so I'm not really to sure.

Just a quick comment on the password it is case sensitive so ATCG360 won't work but atcg360 does.

Also, if you've claimed your team and haven't activated your code yet, please do so (assuming you've received your copy of the game) and PM me so I can invite you to the league. Late arrivals to the league are OK, but for each week you are late (league begins 8/23), your team will either have a game simmed or the CPU will stand in for you against a human opponent.

Not a dumb question at all... here's how it works:

The league officially starts on 8/23, so you'll have through 8/29 to play your first week's game.

THE WEEKS WILL ADVANCE WHEN A) ALL TEAMS HAVE PLAYED THEIR SCHEDULED GAMES, OR B) WHEN THE WEEK ELAPSES - WHICHEVER COMES FIRST

So let's say all teams play their scheduled games by Wednesday of Week 3. We'll then advance to Week 4 early.

On the other hand, let's say only half of the teams play their scheduled games by the end of Week 3; the half who didn't play will have their games simmed so the league can advance to Week 4.

If you have a copy of the game but have not yet activated your code, please do so and PM me ASAP so I can send your franchise invite. If you've been expecting your in-game franchise invite but have not yet received it, please PM me.

If you are scheduled to play a "spoken-for" team, but that team's owner is not yet registered in the franchise, please delay playing the game as long as possible in order to give that team's owner as much time as possible to get registered with our league. We will not advance to Week 2 until Sunday, August 30th, so you have until then to play Week 1's match-ups.

Nope - you just need to play your scheduled game before the League Commissioner advances the week. In our case, you have through Saturday of each week to play that week's game. We will advance the week before Saturday only if all games are completed early.

I really lucked out a win in my first game. I was down 14-3 at one point. Ended up getting a TD with 2pt conversion to get within 3. Then I got the ball back with just over a minute and scored on a long TD pass to pull ahead with 16 seconds on the clock. Its funny Baltimore lit me up with the same difficulty settings on my offline franchise and that was with some free agent signings which improved my team.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Peyton Manning threw for 312 yds and 2 TDs, Joseph Addai rushed for 20 yds and had 94 receiving yards, and Reggie Wayne added 74 yards receiving as the Colts beat the Jaguars 38-3. Manning picked apart the Jaguars defense all day, hitting long strikes to Wayne, Gonzalez, Addai, and Collie while avoiding the vaunted Jaguars defense.

Next up for the Colts are the Miami Dolphins.

It was kind of frustrating from a rushing perspective and to a lesser extent, passing. Addai started off OK but no matter what I did, it seemed the Jags knew exactly what I planned to do.

In terms of passing, Manning hit several long strikes to receivers who always seemed to get tackled inside the 5 yard line. Is it me, or does that seem way too common in Madden?

Been having a few network issues recently due to what I believe is an overheating router. It's old so I replaced it and all seems better now.
