It's your house too. Have louder sex.
What were you thinking? You do NOT move in with a woman you don't have sex with!
Holy shit this was a huge mistake. Honestly, if she had plans of constantly bringing home friends and/or a guy to sleep with, she should've gotten her own place.
We're in our early 30s so we're not kids and I don't want to live like I'm in college. What are some reasonable house rules to set? We appear to have different lifestyles and preferences. I plan to have completely separate lives and not really deal with each other as that would make it simpler. I plan to contact the leasing office tomorrow to see if any options are possible during the first month.
I lived with her temporarily before and she never brought anyone over so I thought she would be a low hassle roommate. We decided to get a 2 bedroom and she constantly has friends over. On top of that, she recently met a guy and brings him over to spend the night where the walls are thin. I'm so angry that I signed a 1 year lease to live with her. We are in our first month. What can I do here? Set rules or move out?

Rules are one thing, prefered lifestyles are the other, if she is messy as you said so(yes someone who brings many friends over every day and has no respect to others during the night is really messy person), she won't go by any rules. Just tell her to stop doing crap and if she refuses than move out.Holy shit this was a huge mistake. Get friends and a gf.
It's a violation of most leas terms to have visitors for more than X days in a year
You don't know the OP per se, how did you find out his life is worse than his roommate's? Do you really believe that having bunch of annoying friends(who suck anyway) come over every day = having a life? Man, the society standards really decreased over last few years.Overnight visitors, maybe. I think the OP is saying people who just come over and _visit_.
Sounds like the OP didn't realize that his new roomie actually has a life. I guess that must suck.
