You know that inside he's giddy that someone was willing to kill for him. He made it! He finally made it!

Just watched a segment on Tampa CBS10 TV where they interviewed one of his previous attorneys who says he is a sick individual who is out of touch with reality. They also said he only became political a couple of years ago and has been living in his van. I guess Trump triggered him.

Pretty much builds onto what I was saying. 100% MAGABomber.

He only became political because of Trump's appeal, the great con that Trump cares about people, that Trump would help them. This guy doesn't have !@#$, but someone finally spoke for him. Said he'd help them. Said he'd be there for them. That could have been us. Instead, only Trump used that appeal to our nation. And so Trump's... rot... became the identity this poor sucker was attached to. That his Ego started printing delusions for. Throw in a regular dose of Fox News, enemies and conspiracies are everywhere. Their mental prison presses them to do something about it!

It's a wild desperation. The country has failed them.

Normal minded people don't do this. Just like mass shooters, you have to be mentally unstable to begin with. There are nuts on both sides and there is no 'solution', just like every other tragedy. Crazy is going to do crazy....one way or another. We can just be thankful that somehow this ended up with no one getting hurt. What DOES need to happen is Trump needs to dial his rhetoric down. For about 5 minutes it looked like he just might. That went out the window pretty fast. He has no tact and he doesn't care one iota about this country. Everything he's done, or has tried to do is to benefit him and his friends/family. He should not be in charge of a toilet, let alone the country.

No it wasn't, it was a clear case of incitement to violence.

Here is what Boehner said about Mr. Obama's use of the word "enemies" in prepared remarks for a speech Monday night.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a president in the White House who referred to Americans who disagree with him as 'our enemies.' Think about that. He actually used that word. When Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush used the word 'enemy,' they reserved it for global terrorists and foreign dictators -- enemies of the United States. Enemies of freedom. Enemies of our country. Today, sadly, we have president who uses the word 'enemy' for fellow Americans -- fellow citizens. He uses it for people who disagree with his agenda of bigger government -- people speaking out for a smaller, more accountable government that respects freedom and allows small businesses to create jobs. Mr. President, there's a word for people who have the audacity to speak up in defense of freedom, the Constitution, and the values of limited government that made our country great. We don't call them 'enemies.' We call them 'patriots.'"

You gotten your "I would rather be a Russian" t-shirts yet?

The way I see it, what most of Trump's supporters went through was an "imprinting" experience much like how infant animals imprint on the first object that's feeding and protecting it.

Regrettably, they're now inextricably (im)paired with a banana republic dictator wanna be that's being compromised by an ex-KGB operative and that right there is why America is sinking deeper and deeper into such an abysmal state of affairs.

Down the proverbial Putin dug rabbit hole we go.

Do you guys really want to go down this road, do you really think you’ll win comparing Obama bad words to Trump bad words.
Just say it the President encourages morons like MAGA Man and should be more careful of the words he chooses to use.

That would mean admitting they've been duped, that's a no-no. I would at least have some respect for people just coming out and saying "I voted Trump because I want my taxes to be lower and fuck everyone else", that's being an asshole but at least it's not being a hypocrite. The "Trump is what's best for the country" crowd are beyond hope.

Christ, I was joking but did he really say that

Using a few more words but yes. If she was elected he said that there would be nothing people could do to stop Hillary from appointing a new justice to the SCOTUS except for maybe the 2nd amendment people but "I don't know"....

I completely agree. Same with immigration and separating kids from their family. Be honest and just say you support separations because it’s a deterrent. Don’t pussy foot around Obama said criminals need to be separated from their kids and it’s criminal to enter the country without following the established process.

I could be wrong, but I don't think I have made any comparison between bad words of Obama and Trump.

** Edit: I see you included me because I liked Taj's post. Yes, I did because I felt Obama was offensive in his statements that he quoted. I also liked the quote from John Boehner. Never liked Boehner much, but I enjoyed and agreed with his quote.

Everybody needs to be more careful about the words they use. Just trying to remain civilized while posting on this forum takes a great deal of self control. There are lots of times I just stay away due to the hatred displayed by many on this forum.

I can see where this nut case could have been triggered by Trump. That being said he was bound to fly off the track if not over Trump and the republicans it would have been something else. Read his history. He was a disaster just waiting on a reason, any reason.

https://www.cnn.com/2017/06/24/politics/nebraska-dem-fired-scalise-shot/index.html

"A member of the Nebraska Democratic Party was fired Thursday morning after an audio recording of him surfaced on YouTube saying he was "glad" House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot at a congressional baseball game practice and wished the Louisiana Republican was dead.

In the expletive-laced recording, Phil Montag, then the volunteer co-chairman of the Nebraska Democratic Party's technology committee, blamed Scalise for seeking to take away people's health care coverage through the Republican bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
"This motherf***er, like, his whole job is like to get people [to] convince Republicans to f***ing kick people off f***ing health care," Montag can be heard saying in the recording in reference to Scalise. "

May as well wallow in it while it's hot.

Thanks for showing and example of what Democrats due to those who go off the rails to condone violence (take accountability) and for being an example of what Republicans do (point the finger).

I have said it before that I voted for Trump for the SCOTUS appointments and I find Hillary disgusting.
