I haven't said it in this thread, so I'll say it. There is absolutely no reason that violence has entered our political debate. There's no excuse for it from the left or from the right. We should be able to disagree on political issues, to disagree even on fundamental principles without fearing a beating and gunshots or a bomb. I don't know of any -isms that have much respect for individuality.I would say as any communist as socialism still allows for individuality whereas communism really doesn't have a place for it.
