A friend is using Mailwasher and Outlook 2000. It is causing errors when she gets new mail. Here's the story. Without outlook being open, when a new mail comes in she gets the little envelope icon in the system tray. If she clicks on that, she gets some sort of error message. (I'm waiting on her to duplicate and write down the exact message). If she does not click on the envelope and just opens outlook, she gets the spam. If she opens Mailwasher first, she can't access the email.
I don't use either of these so I haven't a clue. I told her to just uninstall MW for now but she is reluctant. She gets a ton of spam. Any ideas? As soon as she gets back to me I'll let you know what that error message is.
