Major League Baseball Tickets for $1.00!!!!

"Ameriquest Mortgage Company, an official sponsor of Major League Baseball, has made a charitable contribution of $1 million to obtain one million tickets from the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids, it was announced today. Ameriquest's contribution comes as a result of an announcement last week that MLB and the 30 Clubs would make select game tickets in each MLB market available to fans for a minimum charitable contribution of $1 per ticket. All donations from the program will go to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the official charity of Major League Baseball, and CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation."

When I just checked (8/25, around noon) there were dates/ tickets still available for all major league teams except the:

Orioles, Cubs, Rockies, Padres, and Giants. Good luck!

You can get $2 upper reserve tickets to A's games on Wednesdays and on any other day you can get $4 upper reserve tickets with a Triple A Card.

You have to go and physically donate somewhere to get the tickets...check your team's website for more pertinent information.

Right, so the giants have one man who can hit home runs on a team that absolutely is out of the playoff race. Don't waste your money at the social gatherings also known as giants games...go to an A's game if you want to see some real baseball, and a home team that wins

Yes the average A's fan is a better fan than a Giants fan.

Of course this is because there are only 32 A's fans so they really bring the curve up.
