I was in Guam, when this one hit:

I was also in the Loma Prieta quake of '89 (I was in Oakland, not too far distant from the Cypress Structure double decker overhead freeway that collapsed), and on the island of Adak, Alaska (out on the Aleutians) in 96, when we got hit by a 7.7 quake, and a 7.2 aftershock the next morning.
Trust me, there was about a 7 year period where I was starting to wonder if the damn things were following me! :hmm:
