Make 25 @ Staples with Pinnacle Studio Pro 7

Staples has it for 79.99. Fry's advertises in todays paper the same thing for 29.99. pinnacle
There is a 50 dollar staples rebate for this. This rebate is not advertised at the store or flyer so the will PM it 110% for sure !!
The SKU matches with the one on the rebate form (This doesn't have firewire card)

79.99 - 55 - 50 = -25

Nice find, I am desperately looking for a firewire card, would be great if this would be that version.

I wonder if Staples would take the rebate into account while PM. The rebate shows on the site.

The rebate say DV (which should has a IEEE card),
the link at BB is just basic one. so i guess we have to find out if Staples (Pro ??) has basic one or the DV.

Odd, the rebate says Studio DV 7.0, but has the proper SKU and item number for Studio 7.0.

I don't believe there is a "Pro" or not "Pro" version, don't know where Staples came up with that word??

I was able to get Staples to pricematch Best Buy web page, total came to $39.19 with tax. I hate that the rebate requires the original receipt. Oh well, I'll cross my fingers and send it in....

I successfully had the manager pricematched to Fry's. And he was nice to let me use the $10 off coupon and the free case of water coupon. Make sure the upc code is 613570205302 which can qualify the rebate.

The $50 rebate for the Pinnacle Studio product at Staples is the plain Studio 7, according to the UPC and Staples SKU numbers. On the rebate form it lists "DV", but everything else is straight Studio 7 (i.e. without the Firewire card), so this should fly. I PMed Staples with Circuit City's ad last week at $35.00. The one curious thing about this is that the UPC on the Staples box is unique to them and is an added stickered UPC. Take a hair dryer to carefully remove it for rebates and the UPC that is left is what Best Buy and Circuit City, etc. have as their UPC.

No go, staples.com did not pricematch with bestbuy.com because their price is $29.99 after $50 rebate, compated to $39.99 at BB.

There is a deal here if you go to the Staples B&M. They do not seem to know that there is a rebate on this item. I do not think a rebate is printed at the register either, at least not for me last week. Try it, you may like it.

I just got this a while ago.
I PM it with BB web printout of $39.99, with 110% should be around $36 + tax.
I grab something to make it $40 and use $10 off $40 coupon aand my total after coupon and tax is $31.23.
After MIR, I make $19. Not too shabby.

The Item number and sku match the UPC sticker on the bottom of the box. Should be the same item, regardless of the "DV" word.

The question is, should I keep this ?
Is it a good editing software ? I'm using Win2k and WinXP Pro.

yes. PM today, to Bestbuy.com, got $35.XX, after 50 rebate, total will be around 15. Got to return the one copy from CC last week (that one for 10)
