It's TOTAL CRAP~~~

I would rather go back to dial up on earthlink than get Verizon DSL service..

Well, that can be said about almost all DSL providers... DSL technology, in general, is in its childhood age.

that's not true at all.

when I had DSL service from northpoint/msn I was getting downloads upto 190kb

upload speed was crap tho..

but the pings were constant.. and the speed were constant as well..

it's just Verizon that's crap..

You could cancel the service right after the first month, but you end up costing yourself $20 in that case for hardware... Verizon is the WORST DSL ever... some DSL is good, but NONE of Verizon's is!

Northpoint didn't go under cuz of poor service..

it was due to Verizon Backing out of a merger.. and also.. their service resellers.. not paying money back to northpoint..

IMO Northpoint has been one of the best high speed providers.. that got abused by the little businesses...

Verizon sucks. They limit the bandwidth on DSL. My friends in california get the full 1.5 Mbs or whatever you can get at your house. Verizon limits you before you even have a chance. Their bronze plus is what i have but max real life d/l is 100k a sec.

on a side note about this horrible company. They lost something like 300 in payments on my house @ college bill. One CSR refunded me, only to have it reappear on the next bill. Then I called back, they said shove it... talked to a manager... she was even worse. Lisa.norman@verizon.com she says she'll do stuff for you, but doesn't. I emailed her several times with no replies. just venting a bit..
