Making Firefox run as well as IE.

What are the mandatory addons that will let Firefox do all the things that IE does...stream video, etc.


Streaming Video seems to be something that is not officially supported by Firefox.

This will allow you to stream video (It's a plugin - Don't worry it works for FF even though it says Netscape Navigator)

Nothing. FF >>>>> IE out of the box.

a problem people run into alot. But i found that installing FF before installing any media players fixes the problem instantly. Unless you are talking about streaming flash files like in youtube or google.

so you could try uninstalling ff and any media players that that it might use to stream such as QT, WMA 10 update, or RP. then installing FF and the media players afterwards. its long but it works.

I love updating windows in IE tab. Makes a person feel... kinda dirty.

I've had no problems streaming video in FF, other than QT video - which I don't want to see anyway.
