Making Movies playing The Movies?

I've made 5 movies now, and I still do not know how to have more control over them.
I've just made the script, did casting, sent all the people to the studio, and it just made a crappy film on it's own. My last 2 films didn't even make sense.

How do you use this? I didn't find anything in the 'help' or 'learn the basics'

You need to go to the Advanced Script/Movie Making building. If you're playing initially in single-player mode, then you might not have the option to build it yet. However, if you go into the Sandbox mode, choose the latest year, most cash, and choose for the game to pre-build you a lot, you should be able to find it.

Yep, takes a while to get the Advanced Script building. Hell I'm 50 years into it and I'm still just a 2-star studio ...the game is VERY annoying at times, I'm sick of having so few workers, and my stars always being upset.

I've already sold my copy on eBay. I had reservations about purchasing it, wish I had listened to the voices in my head. Lost $20 on the deal .

Yeah my actors bitch alot and the only way I can keep them happy is to let them drink. Then they get drunk and walk off the set.
Is there not a way to spawn new characters in without having to do the trade off?
