I believe that if the aircraft flies low enough, it's less susceptible to being detected by radar. I do want to emphasize that my post is not to be taken extremely seriously, it's just a thought or a possibility IMO.

Why is this plane crash such a big deal?

I can understand it being a news story but it's bigger than the Ukraine Crisis now for 3 days straight. Something is seriously wrong with our media.

Well that explains the rather cryptic comment of "There are things I can tell you and things that I can't" that was offered by a military official when asked why they were searching so far west.

Let's call a spade a spade. The tracking systems didn't "fail" in that scenario, they were cut.

The idea that a plane could just disappear and vanish without a trace is impossible. I fully believe this plane and the people on it, landed somewhere. An entire plane just doesn't just disappear.

Simple. The airport they were boarding from wasn't checking the stolen passport list.

And is this day and age, when passenger jets can become missiles or just vehicles of death...... NOT acceptable.
The airline industry tries VERY hard to govern/regulate/protect itself.
I presume that is a rule, to check that list, and I presume there should be consequences for those that don't follow.
Isn't it a rule that ALL pilots must speak English? Checking that database (Stolen PP) is a MUCH simpler task in my opinion.

Just because the phone is ringing on the caller's end doesn't mean it is ringing on the receiver's end. A lot of times as the phone call is being routed to the receiver, the phone will ring without the receiver even knowing that a call is being placed until their phone rings or the call cannot connect to the receiver.

Everyone on board got hypoxia and the plane eventually crashed. The only hole in this theory is that the autopilot would be fully engaged and that does not explain the change in direction.

many americans seem to not care about anything or any one else when going to war and after we have so many problems and causaulties no we do not want to go to war even when there might be a reason
