Why don't they have a sat com that can't be disabled? This needs to be done to all commercial aviation. Hell! It would get rid of the black box.
I still wonder if the planes in Pakistan.
Good story but, at the end of the day this describes a conspiracy. By definition, in order to be plausible all of the actors in the story would have to contain the secret of what they were up to (all staff at the Garcia Diego air force base, AWACs crew and some high ranking officials who would be responsible for coordinating the efforts). Since it is unlikely that many people would be able to contain such a big secret I don't put much stock in the theory.
Has anyone been able to make sense of the "raw" satellite doppler data that has been released to the press?

Why don't they have subs around the area they think where the plane went done and find the black box?
OMG that's just.... WOW.
At first I thought it was a parody, then I searched it and found out its real.:awe:
Not really understanding this new development. So it's radar analysis that now let's us think that the plane was going faster than before. Wait what? The same radar data that has been available since maybe day 3?
*confused*
On Monday, Malaysia's Transport Ministry said the final voice transmission from the cockpit of Flight 370 was "Good night Malaysian three seven zero."
That's a departure from earlier language in which Malaysian authorities said the final transmission was "All right, goodnight."
Malaysia is currently facing a credibility problem:

My current guess is there was something on the plane that government(s) don't want people to know about. They're being too shady for any other explanation. Sealed records? Won't release the cargo manifest? Keeps changing their story about communication, flight data, etc.? C'mon.

But there's a credibility problem too with the media. Many times, I've seen reports that conflict each other when they're supposed to be working from the same sources of information.
All in all, communications is at a premium with this whole situation and I would take all these reports with a grain or salt (or a whole salt shaker's worth).
