This sucks. Going to Lambeau this weekend with the GF's family and Rodgers won't be playing.

Yea but Lacy will be in. Could be the next decent running back in the NFL... I mean the packers suck at running the ball and he has almost had 4 straight 100 yard games.

I am excited about the way the Bears offense performed with a back up QB. However, our Safeties are horrible. Major Wright was out of position pretty much the whole game. Chris Conte looked like a clumsy Matador. The only way we have a chance in the division is if Ndamukong McClellin keeps taking out QB's.

I think a bigger issue is the 2 run plays the Packers ran on them where there was a hole big enough for a bus to drive through for a good 15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. That is someones fuck-up.

I think a bigger issue is the 2 run plays the Packers ran on them where there was a hole big enough for a bus to drive through for a good 15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. That is someones fuck-up.

It isn't just that, some of those plays there are literally no linebackers. There is a huge hole in the line of scrimmage (good job GB O Line) and then the safeties are 15 yards back. Nobody else between them. Wtf where the Bears doing?

It is great and all that Chicago beat GB, but if they plan on winning any games against QBs that have more than 2-3 practice reps, they had better fire everyone on defense and hire some high school team; they'd certainly do better.

I dislocated my collar bone once, and it was a 6 week recovery. Now, I didn't have some of the best sports medicine doctors money can buy, so I think Rodgers missing 3 weeks with a small fracture is very likely. He might not be 100% against the Lions, but it isn't his throwing arm, so he should be fine. And if Lacy is still running like he is now, they should only have to worry about another 300 yard Megatron game.

it all depends on his pain threshold. Has he been injured before?

Collarbone injuries suck. Unlike what the moron above me says, doctors can't do anything about it other than give you pain meds. Even then, throwing involves your whole body and I can't imagine that would feel good.

Maybe he does play but I don't see him being 100% for a while.

It is good they held him for so long if it was a mini stroke. IIRC, those usually precede a larger, or massive, stroke. Hope he gets better.

Chris Conte was terrible, he looked like one of the worst safeties I have seen this season.

because he missed 2 open field tackels, on the guy that will probably be rookie rb of the year in the NFL?

he did well in limited coverage, defending a touchdown throw


he got left all alone, because Major Wright, Bostic, Anderson, the other rookie LB, and both interior DL got burned on playfakes at the same time on runs and conte was left all alone 20 yards back

hes an ALRIGHT safety, and should have done better tackling, tho it was routinely taking 3+ bears to tackle lacy


What I dont get, is why even half the talking heads were lambasting that without mentioning that the entire D had failed by the time Conte had to make a play

on the first one, the only other player, who was in his lane properly, was Julius Peppers

That was part of the issue. On the big Lacy run, Major right didn't hit his gap. Even Gruden went back and showed that a couple times. And on the Starks run, Both Conte and Wright were 20 yards deep in cover 2. Were they thinking Wallace was going to drop a deep ball on them, when the previous 57 plays they ran were run plays? Not to mention, Conte could have stopped him from getting a touchdown on that play, but he fell to he side without anyone even touching him.

The fact is, our bad safeties have been covered up by good line play. However, like most teams around the NFL, we have been banged up. So now we are seeing the true weakness.
