Cops deserve every single last thread of criticism they are getting right now. I was talking to a friend of mine from back home a few nights ago who is now in residency at Johns Hopkins and we both agreed that it's gotten pretty insane the way this country babies police. We treat them like fucking war heros, when they fight no war. Their job is less dangerous than being a garbage man, and they should be payed a lot less considering the abuse of the law they all engage in on a daily basis both on and off the job along with their absolutely insane pay. How many times have you heard of a cop's kid getting away with crazy bullshit at your school? Or in life in general? How many times have you seen an asshole cop who probably just pulled a guy over for speeding go flying by at 30+ over the speed limit with no sirens on?



They are totally irresponsible and I consider them to be a counterpart to criminals. Two sides of the same coin really. If I have a choice to deal with gang members or cops in a confrontation, I'd probably pick the gang members because at least if they kill me they will be prosecuted!


I pose this question to the law enforcement supporters here: Why do you support law enforcement? Is your hate for minorities that intense, that you would jeopardize the safety of everyone you know to support murderers? Or are you related to one of the murders yourself?


Please, I'd love to hear why you pork lovers enjoy the taste of oppression so much....

An internal investigation for violating department regulations. Maybe he'll get a suspension? And the other 4 or 5 officers that were involved are apparently just fine.

Good. Most of the Black Lives Matter hysteria I've found to be nonsense, but this one is definitely a case of excessive police force in my book. Essentially Uncle Sam wanted that sweet, sweet tax money from cigarette sales and one of the officers got too violent by employing a choke hold on Garner that wasn't necessary. They never even tried to handcuff him while he stood there but instead opted to go straight to a surprise choke hold.

Garner wasn't violent, was committing a petty crime, and a rear choke hold was completely unwarranted in the situation, especially as the first means of control.

Walter Scott was shot in the back for the crime of... running while unarmed. Philando Castile was murdered because he reached for his documentation the 'wrong' way. Alton Sterling was murdered by officers while he was restrained. There are many fatal shootings where the victims were unarmed, clearly not posing a threat or both; if you think Garner's death was a 'rare' legitimate case in a sea of unwarranted outrage, you haven't been paying attention.

John Crawford was shot by police for being black and buying a BB gun in Walmart, again in a state that has open carry.

Levar Jones was shot by police when he complied and reached for his ID. All over a seatbelt stop.
