i believe it was full and he went in head first or something while trying to repair the tank at the factory.

I would think it'd be hard to swim in oil because of its consistency.

I doubt he was trying to repair it from ithe inside. If frito lay mechanics DO just jump into the oil tanks I'm going to eat even fewer chips than I do now Maybe he didn't know how to swim....hell I dont know

What a shame. I assume the human body is more dense than oil so floating back up wouldn't have been an option. The poor guy probably dropped to the bottom like a stone.

i think he drowned beacuse the vat was too small in circumference to turn right-side-up.

he went in headfirst so he was stuck upside down.

It's almost impossible to swim in oil so he didn't have much of a chance. That's a damn shame- what a horrible way to die!
